Harrison Baker enters his third year with the Sports Information Department at Marist. Baker currently serves as the primary contact for the Red Foxes' women’s basketball, women's soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, and men's and women's rowing teams. Baker also serves as the Social Media Coordinator for Marist Athletics.
Prior to working in sports information, Baker interned for the athletic department in his senior year at Marist. Baker maintained and added to sections of GoRedFoxes.com and worked with social media for sports such as women’s basketball and men’s basketball. In addition Baker did camera work for the MAAC Lacrosse and Water Polo Championship live streams.
Baker graduated from Marist in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Communications. Baker also attained his associate’s degree in liberal arts from Dutchess County Community College. In his last year at Marist, Baker interned and served as a producer for the Marist Center for Sports Communication’s weekly run student radio program, ESPN the Classroom, which broadcasts throughout the Hudson Valley on a local ESPN Affiliate. Also during his time with the Center for Sports Communication, Baker served as a social media liaison for the annual Sports PR Summit held in New York City.
A Hudson Valley native, Baker and his wife Amy, reside in New Windsor, NY.
