Pete Colaizzo
Pete Colaizzo (Marist '86) is in his 26th year as head coach of the cross country and track and field programs at Marist College. Since taking over the program during the winter of 1991, Colaizzo has overseen the complete transformation of the Running Red Foxes. When Colaizzo began in January of 1991, there were four active runners taking part in the club sport of track and field. He marshaled the transition back to NCAA Division I intercollegiate competition for all three seasons. Marist has fielded intercollegiate cross country teams since 1963, while track alternated between club and varsity status from 1963-1991, before becoming a full three-season endeavor in 1991.   FULL BIO

Chuck Williams
Chuck Williams is Associate Head Coach, Women's Cross Country/Track & Field at Marist. Williams is in his eighth year in charge of the women's distance running program. However, his affiliation and impact on the Marist track and cross country program dates back several decades, to when he entered Marist as a freshman distance runner in the fall of 1995.   FULL BIO

Terry Horton
Terry Horton is in his eighth year as men's and women's track and field assistant coach. Coach Horton's primary responsibilities include coaching the sprinting, hurdling, jumping and field-event athletes on the men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field teams.   FULL BIO
Assistant Coach
Erica Maker
Maker, the spouse of current Marist men's basketball head coach Mike Maker, joins Marist after volunteering at Vassar College with the men's and women's track teams in 2016. A 2004 graduate of St. Olaf College, Maker competed in cross country for four years as well as in the 5k and 10k events in track and field. After graduation she moved on to Northwestern University where she completed graduate course work in Sports Administration while also serving as an assistant coach for the women's cross country team.   FULL BIO
