EDISON, N.J. – Junior Will Reznek (Toronto, Canada) of the Marist men's tennis team has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Reznek went 2-0 in both of his singles' matches this past week in the Red Foxes two matches on their spring break trip down to Washington, D.C. He opened the week with a tough 6-4, 7-5 win at third singles' over his opponent from the University of the District of Columbia. He then was Marist's lone point against Big East power Georgetown. Again playing at the third singles' slot, Reznek against fought hard for a 7-5, 6-1 victory.

It is the third career weekly award for Reznek as he was earned the same honor once in each of his freshman and sophomore campaigns. It is also the second weekly award for the Red Foxes this season as Reznek's classmate Dalen Klassen (St. Louis, Mo.) was also named Player of the Week on Feb. 26.

Marist (5-2) had their Wednesday MAAC opener at Fairfield postponed until April 16. The Red Foxes will play their first home match of the year on Monday, April 1 when they host Hofstra in a 2 p.m. match. It will kick off a string of the Red Foxes playing seven of eight matches on their home court.
