POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist men's and women's cross country teams officially reported for preseason camp on Monday.

Physicals were administered early this morning prior to the teams attending a mandatory NCAA meeting at 11 a.m. On Monday afternoon, each team had its first practice - the men at Mills Mansion at Staatsburgh State Historic Site, and the women at Bowdoin Park. Both teams will train at Lake Minnewaska on Tuesday.

The teams' season opener will occur at the Marist Invitational for the fifth straight year. This year's meet will occur on Saturday, Sept. 1 at Bowdoin Park. There are six meets on the regular-season schedule prior to Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, which will be at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
